A Rubicon series vehicle that will overcome road obstacles by automatically altering its own gravity. You have manual control over the throttle, brakes and curb height, but as you approach a road block, the VECU will take over until you are safely on the other side of the obstacle.

THE VEHICLE IS DESIGNED TO GO FULL THROTTLE, IT WILL BRAKE ON ITS OWN, DO NOT SLOW DOWN WHILE APPROACHING THE ROAD BLOCKS!

  • zardOz2: Oh and brakes prox engages brakes
  • zardOz2: @bill3450: it's essentially this: If the prox sensor is signaling, send to gravity setter(up) if prox switches back off then send to gravity setter forward (briefly) and then gravity setter normal...
  • bill3450: Awsome unbelievable how do you do that crazy
  • ___: Very impressive build

  • poutinepete: Thanks for the help, Ill work on it.
  • TouringGuy: Wow! What an insane build. You are very talented, Rubicon.
  • Rubicon2: @poutinepete: I left the breadboard rather messy, I apologize :) but it was a matter of using the switcher to carry out the tasks required; (starting from top left of breadboard and working downwards from switcher) 1. Detect front proximity sensor/apply brakes/advance switcher. 2. Raise wheels/alter y gravity axis (move up)/advance switcher. 3. Detect inverted front proximity sensor signal (top of obstacle)/alter y & x gravity axis (move forward and downward)/send signal to step #4. 4. (right side of breadboard) detect signal from step #3 & bottom proximity sensor (AND gate)/send reset signal to all timers and condensors/reset gravity/ reverse switcher 2 steps to original position.

    Hope that helps :)
  • poutinepete: I'm trying to figure out the breadboard electronics....help! I have to know how you did this.
