Experimenting with a qwerty keyboard input, touch the letters to input them into the toast message.

Using this to experiment on a scripting console.
Will update with my progress every milestone I hit.

Update 1:
Adds number support as well as the following: , . - + [ ]
Adds backspace and enter key.
Currently working on a way to use a shift key for capital letters as well as additional symbols.
Also beginning working on a display for the text rather than the game message.

Remember this variable hold only along runtime. When you quit and start again this variable back to 0 default.
  • JOELwindows7: Add clear all button please!
  • JOELwindows7: @Cralant: ok
  • jammer312: Yep. Lua console emulator coming soon. From me of course. Just copy of my Advanced text processor but with more buttons
  • Leis: Ahh...we got a new keyboard for android
  • Cralant: @JOELwindows7: yeah I will add shift and possibly a caps lock but num lock and scroll lock cannot be used in this game. I could possibly do something with the control key though.
  • JOELwindows7: Wow better, add caps lock and numlock too!
  • JOELwindows7: @jammer312: Jammers inc. Lol!
  • JOELwindows7: @Cralant: ok. And don't forget about special key like Caps lock, Num lock, and Scroll lock (what for?).
  • Cralant: @jammer312: that's what I'm working on currently.
Hopefully will have something up and running later.
@JOELwindows7: don't think I'm going to add international letters to this at the moment, maybe sometime in the future.
  • jammer312: Wait
    I can do it myself
  • jammer312: You can combine it with my text processor to make in-principia terminal emulator or something like it
  • JOELwindows7: Latin: OK
    Swedish letter for: RasmusOlle added
Kanji, plus Japaness letter: not yet.
  • JOELwindows7: Part of OS in Proncipia! Awesome keep going on sir!
  • RasmusOlle: I,m have some letters you can add
  • pajlada: @Cralant: text = text:sub(0,#text-1)
this removes the last letter of the string
  • Golden: @Cralant: like reset lua
  • Cralant: @Demon666: @pajlada: @TechZ: @zardOz: thanks guys, I'll hopefully have an update out soon.

@golden: backspace is not included in this test, its pretty hard to take away the last letter of a string in lua so I will attempt to use tables and that way. Unless anyone has an idea to make my job easier?
  • Golden: Umm where backspace key
  • zardOz2: cool stuff cralent
  • TechZ2124: Amazing ! Great work dude, I definitively like it.
  • pajlada: Nice, you should probably disable camera movement on this level.
  • Demon666: Nice!
