Playing around with drone pathing, the code isnt the cleanest as I was trying multiple things. Left lua is gyro-tilt targeting the center laser.

v2.0: large expansion since this is unexpectedly my most popular creation! Thx all

  • zardOz2: Im thinking the side thrust will be a ratio of slope angle to control speed and the height at any point in the travel, will be really tough to not get it to wobble up and down like crazy
  • Demon666: yeah i just tried pluging in points manually the problem is to get it moving smooth you have to have a lot of points all with the same slope. generating a good line will be difficult lol
  • zardOz2: @Demon666: diagonally seems like a far simpler task, but still tricky
  • Demon666: diagonally*
  • Demon666: i got a challenge for you. make it fly disgnally on a fixed slope and make it fly on a curve and in circles lol.... i am doing this as well but i am horrible at math im ill probably fail lol
  • zardOz2: Lol, always pretend like that was the idea all along! @Demon666: good luck, Im working on collision with sprite walls... it's going slowly
  • Demon666: I just realized that this would be perfact for that pac-man game I was talking to you about the other day lmao.
  • zardOz2: @Demon666: knock yourself out, thats what it's here for;)
  • Demon666: you don't mind if i make my own version of this right? i don't like using other peoples ideas without asking them lol.
  • Ronan: Coooooooool
  • Rubicon2: Great update
  • Leis: No need too humble :) u levels popular then anyone of us
  • jammer312: Btw I really should read titles before playing
  • jammer312: First play: wow, zardoz made drone that completes labyrinth at its own! :D
First editing: zardoz just made sequence :S
  • JOELwindows7: @zardOz: yes, you're welcome!
  • Demon666: yeah I knew that I you would have to remake the code to reflect the weight of the hovercraft. my smallest hovercraft works in a similar way but yours has the left and right motion in addition to the height.
  • zardOz2: @Demon666: Its pretty touchy, you need to redo all of the thrust settings for the exact weight of the craft and it could use some better code, I didnt really try to shorten it.
  • Demon666: my mind is racing with possible uses for this.
  • zardOz2: @JOELwindows7: the mirrors reflect from above to finish him off:) thx joel
  • JOELwindows7: More Awesome!
Bug: one spikebot on rightest floor 1 survive!
  • incrazyboyy: Damn nice
  • Wkmz: Awesome! Very smooth
  • zardOz2: Wow, holy popular Batman! I wasnt even gonna publish this, thanks @Cool Dude: @Ronan: @Rubicon: @TechZ: @woodnut: @Leis: @JOELwindows7:
  • Cool Dude: Cool, says dude.
  • Ronan: Cooooooooool!!!
  • Rubicon2: That is pretty cool!
  • TechZ2124: Nice one !
  • woodnut2: Wow! That's mighty cool :)
  • Leis: Awesome!!! Killer drone?
  • Demon666: i got a challenge for you... a jericho missile like the one from ironman.
  • JOELwindows7: Awesome! Sequenced control!
  • zardOz2: @x32g: @RAY5D: thx, the stabilzer did most of the hard work... this is pretty useless at the moment if it gets knocked by anything it'll fail.
  • RAY5D: Awesome!
  • x32g: I cannot describe how impressively impressive this is.
  • zardOz2: I used several methods... much of the smoothness is from the stabilizer. The side to side hover I made a special program that lowers the thrust a bit at a certain height so it wont bounce.
  • Demon666: I'm just amazed at how accurate and stable the movement it.... did you manually enter the coordinates or does it move on its own?
  • zardOz2: @The_Blacksmith_: @Demon666: @roboz: thx all, I tried to get it to repeat the program but it wouldnt move the same distance left and right.
  • roboz: Whoa so awesome!
  • Demon666: THIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!.... it moves so smoothly lol.
  • The_Blacksmith_: Amazing! LIKE
