Been a while, had about 200 versions since u last saw this. Decided to use this as the backup instead of the few hundred saved copies I currently got. Still tied to the ground but if I released it its in a state where it would fly (round in a circle until I set the object finders)

-fixed power loss after stage 3
-decreased launch time to 1 second for test purposes
-3rd stage seperation. Some major error on the 5th and 6th stages requires fixing tomorrow
-enabled 1st and second module seperation
-improved flight control system (more accurate)
-removed fire
-realesed it, and it launches
-cleaned up all stray pixles in space
-preparing for final release
-added first part of mars
-towers release
-added time to towers
-launch capable
-adding cosmetics to towers
-added stabilising tower
-set waypoints for right walker
-set waypoints for left walker
-finished gravity
-added more
-added part of gravity control system
-fixed two major errors I made last night
-removed random corner??? (Third one I found, I didnt add it)
-wired in auto flight and spin
-added auto flight and spin to habitat modules
-fixed error with all seperation electronics
-electronically launch capable
-added part of flight processing
-added most electronics and rocketry
-Added fuel tanks for each module
-Basic shell and systems

  • bor3d: is 34-b459 working with windows xp
  • wolfey: hey Abrackers, well done.i know it's not complete but i understand(from my own experience with similair idea) that its NOT easy. (yes, mine also on hold but thats cos new pc runs Vista and i cant get Principia to run under vista on any pc!) BUT congrats on your achievement so far pal. keep it up!
  • Charlest360: Lags as hell but still cool :)
  • abrackers2: @111: thats because it isnt finished yet. Thats why its called launch test
  • 111: @abrackers: it just takes to long and when u get to Mars it lands in the wrong spot
  • abrackers2: @111: well you try making a rocket which works fully. Spent many many hours on this and its still got lots of problems, hence its on permenant hold
  • 111: A big waste of time
  • benz15: @abrackers: LIKE LIKE LIKE LIKE
  • benz15: @abrackers: this rocket have a walker?
  • benz15: @abrackers: please check my level :) ;)
  • benz15: @abrackers: SUPER THANK YOU
  • abrackers2: @benz15: its massively work in progress but ok
  • benz15: @abrackers: please
  • benz15: @abrackers: i dont want go to Zardoz
  • benz15: @abrackers: i will like this level :)
  • benz15: @abrackers: please ALLOW DERIVATIVES :)
  • abrackers2: @benz15: you need any help, go to selected at the top and go to zard0z's basic parts tutorials
  • abrackers2: @benz15: hi
  • benz15: @abrackers: Hi im new here
  • Aceheliflyer: @abrackers: ok. ;D
  • abrackers2: @Aceheliflyer: the landing module for mars. It'll all become clear once this is a final version
  • Aceheliflyer: @abrackers: yeah
  • abrackers2: @Aceheliflyer:
  • abrackers2: The big circle near the top?
  • Aceheliflyer: @abrackers: whats with the circle thing
  • Aceheliflyer: @deathonastick4: I dont get alot of lag.
  • abrackers2: @deathonastick4: give me a few days. Theres quite a few fixes I need to impliment before I add the auto absorbers. Also, the rocket doesnt get beyond stage 6 atm so you didnt miss much
  • JOELwindows7: Super Awesome overclock test
  • deathonastick4: Amazing! But DAMN is there any way to reduce the lag? I just stopped at like stage 5 because the frame rate drop was actually slowing down the rocket.
  • abrackers2: @pajlada:
  • abrackers2: @Aceheliflyer: I assumed they'd talk
  • Aceheliflyer: @abrackers: yeah. And you might want to contact pajlada. For the zoom.
  • abrackers2: @sdac: can you please increase max zoom out so the width of the launch assembly including towers is visible in portrait mode. Thanks
  • abrackers2: @Aceheliflyer: that was a left over fx emmiter from my previous laggy version
  • Aceheliflyer: AHHH.... BEEP, BEEP, BEEP, BEEP. ENGINE 1 DOWN. FLAMES!!!
  • abrackers2: @zardOz: yh im gonna add the absorbers, but itll still be bad at the start
  • Aceheliflyer: @abrackers: but I dont have a screen recorder
  • aaron the maker: @that guy: yep that is a lot of laging
  • zardOz2: It's great, good symetrical design too! Auto-absorbing the laucher arms after takeoff and then the boosters after seperation will greatly reduce our slowdown:) But on a build this size Id be worried about auto_absorb glitches.
  • that guy2: Laglaglaglaglaglaglaglaglaglaglag
  • abrackers2: @Aceheliflyer: make one with my saturn 5 rocket. Its much less laggy
  • abrackers2: @zardOz: now it kinda flies
  • zardOz2: @abrackers: gratz!
  • abrackers2: @zardOz: @that guy: @Aceheliflyer: OMG OMG OMG. Just did a cut loose test and it took off. Im sooo happy :)
  • zardOz2: @that guy: I wouldnt expect a takeoff until 1.0:)
  • that guy2: It wont take off...
  • Aceheliflyer: I should make a you tube video with this... but I dont have a scrwen recorder. And I need a licwnce to use a song that would go perfect with this rocket
  • abrackers2: @rocco_roc: its not too far off. Give me a few hours, ill try to get it done tonite
  • rocco_roc: I want to see it finished. I could be awesome.
  • dislexicboy: @abrackers: ok
  • abrackers2: @dislexicboy: yh. Auto one is gonna come first
  • dislexicboy: @abrackers: two version would be fun one we can control and one that is automatic
  • abrackers2: @TechZ: was planning for an auto one like saturn 5 but seen as you guys seem to want control, ill see what I can do. I might just make 2 versions
  • TechZ2124: Great start ! Can't wait to control this monster and land on Mars !
  • abrackers2: @zardOz: thats two walkers. Youve already seen the walkers, they were published a while ago
  • Hobbit: Can't wait to see it fly.
  • zardOz2: Great design so far... is that an unfolding crawler or something?
  • incrazyboyy: @abrackers: on average, I never work more than 10 hours per week on a project. And I keep building as long as it is fun
  • abrackers2: @incrazyboyy: of 5 - 8 hours a day ;)
  • abrackers2: @incrazyboyy: but its only taken a week so far...
  • incrazyboyy: I wish I could do huge things like you, but I don't have enough endurance...
  • abrackers2: @yo man: I still need to build mars
  • yo man: This is crazy already!
  • abrackers2: Damn, 3000 objects before I leave the ground
